- Maintenance of current CAD drawings. Includes those of each trade. There will also be fire plans, colored cost center plans, and colored plans showing zones served by air handlers and fire protection sprinkler shut-off valves. Client generated changes to the architectural base plan may be sent to us by e-mail, fax, or mail. Depending on the extent, changes will be posted within a few days to two weeks.
- Linked plans. The plans will be linked to the database to give square footage and the ability to query and get graphic results on the plan. The initial set up will include all drawings we currently have in CAD format.
- Automatic plan updates. Whenever we do a project, CAD plans for all new and remodeled areas will automatically be included on the system at no additional cost.
- Dynamic plan and report viewing. Viewing, zooming, and printing of all the various plans (see Figure 1).
- Dynamic reports and queries. Direct access to query and receive reports and download the results in Excel format (see Figures 2 and 3).
- Data manipulation. Direct Client manipulation of the database will be possible. Changes are immediate and there is no "
undo"
feature. The Client shall determine which individuals may have editing access. Due to software limitations (and current Autodesk restrictions) drawing files cannot be manipulated over the internet. Current architectural base CAD files will be available for download to be loaded and used at the facility.
- Immediate graphic feedback. Type in query criteria (see Figure 2) and immediately see a thematic plan of the results.
